Natural Hair Diaries: Carol's Daughter New Spokeswomen

Carol's Daughter has chosen Selita Ebanks, Solange Knowles, and Cassie (Casandra Ventura) as there new spokeswomen.  Interesting choices!! I'm sure they will be wonderful.

The jokes are alive and well on social networks regarding the spokeswomen being Kanye's "almost" boo, Bey's lil sis (ie. don't give Bey the job she needs to give Jay some kids) and Diddy's "boo".  Well I'm sure that doesn't phase these ladies.  Ironically enough, I have a post coming on Cassie in the next few days.  Do your thing ladies!

My coworker and I have been discussing this interview and another Kanye radio interview for a couple days now.  Our feeling is that Kanye is right....if they are truly interested in hearing what he has to say why play a clip WITH SOUND over him trying to talk.  It's one thing to just play the clip without audio but when you are actually trying to hear what he's saying now...it's kinda rude!!

I'd be irritated too.  But of course they say they did nothing wrong because they do that all the time.  So...who cares what you do "all the time".  Just because thats the case doesnt make it right.

So according to Mr. West (no relation) him and Jay-Z will be releasing a 5 Song album entitled "Watch the Throne"



This has the potential to be one of the best things EVER!!! OR ...it could build up mad hype and ppl think its the whackest shit ever!!

So earlier..........i watched/read all the twitter-tary (twitter commentary) come in about this video. And boy was i expecting an earth shattering DISASTER.

HOWEVER...it wasnt that bad. I liked it overall.

T-Pain should not have been allowed to auto-tune....Wyclef caught me off guard a couple times, and Miley Cyrus....i forget she's a REAL LIFE "singer". But oh well.

Highlights........J. HUD (she gives me chills), Michael clips, Kanye, ....and more...it was nice!!!

Also...wasnt expecting the rapping...but again...NICE OVERALL!!!

Poor Poor Kanye.........and POOR POOR TAYLOR SWIFT. The lil baby child was trying to have her moment to shine and Kanye took it away from her. She was about to fall out crying. Po' lil tink tink. Shame on you Kanye....cause you should have waited until GreenDay took Coldplay's award. JK JK...that was a difficult category. (i luvs my coldplay) If the Hennessy got him doing alla dat he needs to be sober. However, I honestly dont think he's ever healed from his mother's passing. I feel like his heart is broken and while its not mended he probably feels empty and therefore does not care who he hurts cause he's in pain. I hope he gets help....lawd!!
And poor Taylor Swift. At least you got to give yo' lil' country speech.

As of yesterday...Kanye apologized on his blog and tonight had an apparently sincere apology on Leno...I missed it...but most of twitter said he seemed genuine and heartfelt...almost even bust out a tear.

Not that I ever did before...but as of now i really CANNOT take Lil' Mama seriously. WTF did this foolywag thing she was doing. Just gon' get on up on the stage with Jay and jam her way into superstardom....i think not. Shit yo' ass down. As of today, Lil Mama has issued an apology about running up on Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance last night:

“I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the statement reads. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”
