As we were worried about its seems that first reviews of Tyler Perry's "adaptation" of "For Colored Girls..." shows the movie falling very very short of the wonderfulness that was the original work. I'm def gonna run out opening night to see how I feel and critique.
I'm about to re-read Shange's choreo-poem right before I go see it so its FRESH in my mind.
