*ahem* Firstly....i would like to say...is it me or is 2010 about to be EVERYBODY AND THEY MAMA'S YEAR....are people like this EVERY year and its just so noticeable because Twitter AND facebook are Poppington right about now.......let me know........cuz like @dscribefreeman said, "IN" is gonna be pretty crowded because everyone is talking about going there in 2010. lmao. ok...back to the point.
THE LAST DECADE....
For me has been amazing. 10 years ago, little did I know that my WHOLE LIFE was about to change. In 2000, I would be accepted into A Better Chance...then The Lawrenceville School and actually decide to leave Arkansas and go. The Lawrenceville School was the best decision of my life. Nothing has topped it because if it wasn't for Lawrenceville, i wouldn't have had to opportunity to do all the things that I have done since. I'm thankful for all the things I've been able to do and all the people I've met because of it. This includes L'Ville and GW/DC folks because if it wasn't for L'Ville, I wouldn't know GW existed!!! Forreal....so 10 years ago...my life changed for the absolute best...and I'm eternally grateful!!!!! WOOOOO!!!
THE LAST YEAR....
Has been amazingly crazy...a lot has happened that has changed my life. I'll name a few thing!!
*I JOINED TWITTER
*I LOST 20-30LBS (60-70 overall) (the old fashion way)
*I MET AN AMAZING NEW SET OF FRIENDS AND RECONNECTED WITH SOME OLD FRIENDS (yall know who you are...but basically i got back in touch w/ a cpl l'ville ppl and my HU CREW IS DEEEEEEEEEEEEEPer now...and TOP 5 is popping)
*I COMPLETED ALL MY COURSEWORK FOR MY MASTERS DEGREE!!! (just gotta defeat comprehensive exams)
*MY LINESISTERS AND I MADE IT A POINT TO SEE EACH OTHER AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH
*I FELL IN AND OUT OF LOVE
*I GOT A WII (don't judge me)
*I GOT AN IPHONE
*I STARTED BLOGGING....
There's more but I'll leave it at that.......but yes...I'm ready and excited for 2010 and the new decade....
Looking back, i really realize how wonderful this one has been and despite a lot of craziness, this year has been amazing too!!! I wish you all the best in the new year...and new decade.
